Biography
Dr. Sumit K. Kundu is a Tenured Full Professor of International Business at Florida International University. Till date
Dr. Kundu has published 25 articles in premier journals namely Journal of International Business Studies, Management International Review, Journal of World Business, Journal of International Management, Journal of International Marketing etc.
He has taught courses on International Business Environment, International Business Policy, International Management, International Marketing at several universities located in United States of America, Spain, Thailand, Hongkong, and India. Dr. Kundu has been a consultant for Novartis, Boeing, MasterCard International, and Ingersoll-Rand Corporation.

Globalization - Past, Present, and Future.
The 21st century has witnessed a phenomenon - Globalization. As the trade barriers in the world get reduced and foreign direct investment increases, there is an increased interdependency amongst the countries and integration of operations of multinational enterprises. Foreign direct investment has overtaken international trade and world output. What has globalization done to the world? Is it a blessing or a curse to the people of this world? What are the implications for developed and developing countries? Let us take a snap shot of the world in the past two thousand years, and understand the evolution of this unstoppable phenomenon as it affects the lives of billions of people around the world in a profound manner. During the presentation, we will also examine the impact of globalization on Netherlands, its companies, and its people.
